Day 1
Nanaimo to Cougar Creek
Travel to the launch area, camp and prepare equipment for the paddling journey.
Day 2
Launch to Bligh Island
Practise paddle skills as needed and kayak to a campsite among the Spanish Pilot Islands.
Day 3
Resolution Cove
Day paddle toward Resolution Cove and explore the Spanish Pilot Group.
Day 4
Yuqout / Friendly Cove
Cross Cook Channel when conditions allow to visit Yuquot and its significant history.
Day 5
Saavedra Islands
Explore Santa Gertrudis Cove and nearby islands before returning toward Bligh Island.
Day 6
Paddle out and return
Return to the launch area, repack and travel to Nanaimo.
